Installed in a timely manner, the automatic cutting-machining plant delivered by Soenen has been operational since the end of July. The aluminium profiles are first machined (milling, tapping, flow-drilling), and then cut and machined at the ends. The machine has 32 Fanuc numerical axes controlled by a CNC, which results in great flexibility. Augmented reality glasses allow the Soenen teams to carry out remote maintenance operations. Thanks to holograms, Soenen technicians can locate the areas where interventions are required and inform the operator about the work to be done.
